The sparkling synth pop and Motorik Krautrock of Manchester-based three-piece W. H. Lung first burst onto the music scene in 2017 with their double-sided single Inspiration!/Nothing Is. Following the release of their debut, schoolmates Joseph E [vocals/synths], Tom S [guitar] and Tom P [bass] snowballed into success, showcasing their talents at British festivals Green Man and End Of The Road. Inspired by the likes of LCD Soundsystem, Talking Heads, Prince and Julia Holter, to name but a few, the group headed into the studio to begin work on their debut album, Incidental Music. Deservedly so, the record was praised by Piccadilly Records as album of the year 2019. Three years and two sensational albums later, the trio have taken a bold electronic leap forward into the dance music they love. Their transcendent second album Vanities was released in October 2021.
