Founded by best friends, vocalists, songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Asha Lorenz and Louis O’Bryen, Sorry is a London-based band with a mercurial style. Asha and Louis first started experimenting with making music as teens, recording soundscapes and beats in their North London bedrooms. Realising their joint admiration for guitar-based rock and beatmaking, the duo formed Sorry. Sorry – originally named Fish – went on to recruit members Lincoln Barrett [drums] and Campbell Baum [bass], completing the band’s line-up. Their wildly experimental sound – influenced by everything from trip-hop, 90’s rock and early trap – caught the attention of Domino Records who aided the release of the band’s debut album, 925, in 2020. Inspired by classic songwriters of the 1970’s like Randy Newman and Carly Simon, the group return this Autumn with follow-up album Anywhere But Here.
