Making their return to Cardiff since supporting Shoegaze pioneers Slowdive last year, Whitelands are the trendiest band in said genre, evoking the same strong emotions as their predecessors with modern twists throughout. They’re a vital part of keeping the beloved sound alive, and last year’s record, ‘Night – Bound Eyes Are Blind to the Day’ serves as a benchmark in UK indie music. It’ll be hard to keep your eyes dry, but Whitelands Sŵn debut will be mind-boggling.
