Boiled in the sweaty pits of Cardiff’s grassroots scene, the lives of the Meritones have always been centred around rock music, having originally formed in Year 8. Their constructive noise rock pays homage to greats like Mclusky and Ty Segall, while adding a new lens exploring cultural existence in Cardiff city. Sŵn has been on The Meritones’ bucket list for some time, making their debut appearance a ceremonious one.
