Having already achieved so much, it’s hard to remember that Shale are just shy of a year into existence, with their appearance at Sŵn last year being one of their first ever shows. The Cardiff/Newport boys have a critically acclaimed debut EP out, an appearance at Green Man and have secured the BBC 6 Music track of the week with their recent single “Work Dog”. While it’s all happened very fast, Shale are a testament to their achievements; punching out indie rock hit after another and showing no signs of stopping anytime soon.
