Fully embrace yourself in “Nettlecore”, that’s how South Wales’ Sawtega summarise their sound. They bring heaviness straight to your ears via nu-grunge and heavy shoegaze sounds. Last year, the band released their first two singles ‘Revenge’ and ‘Tower’.
And they’ve carried over the momentum into 2026 with new single ‘Inherit’, which blazes high with satisfyingly heavy riffs. They band have supported other South Wales favourites in Bambees, and will also be supporting Cassyette at Clwb in September.
