It’s easy to become completely captivated by the works of Neve Cariad. With an eye for powerful, honest lyricism and a haunting melody, she offers pieces of herself in every listen. Originally from Welshpool, she’s now based in Leeds. Her 2023 debut EP ‘Neve’, sees her colour her world with 1960s folk, indie pop, americana and art rock.
Exploring grief, trauma and coming of age, a lot of her songs speak to people, as she effortlessly threads words together. Cariad is supporting Kurt Vile this year, and appearing at Green Man.
She’s back for another round at Sŵn this year, we’re looking forward to being mesmerised once more.
