London newcomers Mouth Ulcers are all about the dark and the brooding when it comes to their style of rock music. The band released their debut EP ‘Silent Pictures’ in July and it was a sublime statement of moody goth rock. They draw from classic post-punk darkness, whilst injecting fresh youthful energy into it.
The guitars are atmospheric, and they manage to balance momentum and atmosphere with drive. Mouth Ulcers have toured across the UK and Netherlands already, making an impression with their hauntingly effective aesthetic.
