Manchester-based Martial Arts are carving out a reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting new acts. The band’s songs are deeply narrative driven, as they’re unafraid to take you on a long and richly-rewarding lyrical journey. The art-punk group have done shows for Speedy Wunderground, as well as So Young Magazine and The Great Escape.
They’ve supported a string of important bands both new and old, including Bloc Party, Bleach 9:3 and Little Grandad. The band are now taking their buzz abroad too, having played shows in France and Portugal.
The vital new band has a pretty important upcoming stop at Sŵn Festival too.
