Louis O’Hara knows a thing or two when it comes to being in a band. In fact, he estimates that he’s been in about 14 different projects! Now, with his solo work, O’Hara has been creating incredibly moving folk music. Releasing his debut album ‘A Peaceful Kind Of Fun’ in November 2025 via Libertino, he sings in both English and Welsh.
His work is at times reminiscent of Bill Callahan, and when he has the full band accompanying him, his live performances become Louis O’Hara and His Burley Chassis. And, they’ll be in full swing at this year’s Sŵn Festival.
