Fronted by Guto Price (Super Furry Animals) and Lindsey Leven, the music of Gulp is built on optimism in pop, trying to distance themselves as far as possible from the cynicism and negativity in the world. Achieving Psych-Space-Pop is some feat, which could obviously only be achieved by a band with such a stacked lineup. They further their sound on their new record ‘Beneath Strawberry Moons’, taking a folkier route, resulting in a more grounded record overall.
