Filled with Emo throwbacks and as dark as their name suggests, Birmingham’s Graywave make music that teeters between dreamy shoegaze and the nightmare of heavy emo. Their latest album ‘Dancing in the Dust’ keeps you in a limbo with liminal instrumentals carrying you through their dark lyrics. Made for the lowlights and deserving of an attentive audience, I recommend catching their set if you’re a fan of absorbing all the sound up as the Brummies do just that.
