Esmeralda Road are part of a new wave of indie bands that are breaking through at the moment, including The North and Cherryholt. The Belfast band have got a lot of experience under their belts already having supported Paul Weller, Liam Gallagher, Primal Scream and Basht.
Their debut single ‘To U’ won the NI Music Prize in 2023 and they haven’t looked back since. Their momentum is set to continue in 2026, as they’ve already been on a UK/Ireland tour in the spring and are set for more festival appearenes including Sŵn!
We look forward to checking out what all the hype is about at this year’s festival.
