Earlier this year, Dermot Henry gave us the first proper glimpse into his world. The Wiltshire songwriter released his debut EP ‘Aiming Torches At The Sun’ in May, introducing us to a songwriter with a deeply warm and nostalgic sound. Signed to Action Records, the EP was recorded with Dom Monks, who has worked with the likes of Michael Kiwanuka and Laura Marling.
Taking cues from some of music’s most celebrated songwriters such as Bob Dylan and Jeff Buckley, Henry has already established a deeply engrossing aesthetic that sits within the realms of folk and melodic pop.
