You’ll likely know Dana Margolin as the lead singer/vocalist of Porridge Radio, the Mercury Prize-nominated band who emerged in the mid-2010s. Now, Margolin has decided to tread her own path, after the band split in 2025.
Having just started her solo journey, Margolin hasn’t released any music from the project yet, but has been testing it out on the road via small shows and a support slot with Ezra Furman. A deftly talented songwriter and vocalist, her latest work will surely be tugging at the old heartstrings.
We’re looking forward to seeing what she’s been cooking up, as Margolin’s new songs get their Welsh debut at Sŵn Festival.
