Alice Costelloe has spent plenty of time playing in bands. Whether that be as part of acclaimed shoegaze band Big Deal, or touring as part of Superfood. Back in 2023, Costelloe launched her own solo career, which was an opportunity to express her own story.
She released her debut album ‘Move On With The Year’ back in February, and it was produced by Mike Lindsay in margate. Instead of following the indie-rock lineage that Costelloe had been a part of previously, the record is a deeply immersive creative world that is driven by instinct rather than adhering to any specific style.
