Kent brothers Will and Charlie are coming out with fresh house music that has been built on a decade’s worth of Industry experience, a prominent indie pop career for Will (Joseph Cook), but mostly a keen teenage obsession with Dubstep music. Aki Oke finds the sweet, sweet middle ground between Dance and Pop where it’s catchy enough for everyone to sing along, and fresh enough to be a world away from cringe. Their music is a well-worked homage to the UKG culture that has defined a generation’s culture, all the while moving forward with the intent of reaching new sonic highs. This promises to be heaps upon heaps of fun.
