With a co-sign from Bill Murray, the Leeds outfit is hard to define; marrying synth pop tendencies with drum and bass-esque percussion to make a sound that could be heard in an Arizona arcade in the 1980s as well as a hip local music venue (which Sŵn boasts many to choose from). Their music is impossibly fun and a major throwback/projection into the future of synth pop. What more can I say except that it’s the best of many worlds and a great time all around.
