Cardiff based producer and songwriter ACCÜ (ex Trwbador member Angharad Van Rijswijk) has spent the last year crafting new material as a solo act and visual artist. Having moved from the Netherlands to Wales at a young age, spending many a time living in reclusive hamlets, ACCÜ (meaning accumulator in Dutch) draws influence from senses of lost nostalgia, sonically siphoning her disordered and charmed associations.
Recent collaborations with writer and comedian Stewart Lee and artists Richard James and Andy Fung will be shown as part of Cardiff Contemporary this October. An audio-visual installation named ‘The Hill of Dreams’, in part based on the novel by Welsh author Arthur Machen.
